The CDC Group performs the SARS-COV-2 IGG and IGM (CLIA- chemiluminescence method) serological antibody test, which consists in taking a venous blood sample to detect Immunoglobulins G (IgG), which provide a reliable signal of infection, and Immunoglobulins M (IgM), which are considered to be the expression of early synthesis of antibodies specific to the infection.
