To have this test it is necessary:
- to arrive on the day of the test 10 minutes before your appointment, to take care of the necessary paperwork. Remember to bring:
- the request from your doctor or specialist (not necessary for a check up)
- your national health card
- your tax code
- previous records, test results, x-rays and scans
- to eat a low fibre diet from the day before the test (you are allowed to eat meat, fish, cheese, yoghurt and dairy products, eggs, bone broth, jam, tea and coffee, but must avoid bread, pasta, fruit, vegetables and pulses, as well as fizzy drinks) and take two vegetable carbon wafers after main meals.
- to arrive on the day of the test having eaten nothing for at least six hours (still water is allowed, but you must avoid tea and coffee).
- abstain from smoking before the test.
Do not drink fizzy drinks from the evening before the test.
On the day of the test: light breakfast (tea with a couple of French toast slices), then nothing until the time of the test.
